Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, the candidate will be instrumental and responsible for providing high quality technology recommendations and solutions that address business needs by modifying existing applications and/or developing new applications in Java, Java EE, Spring, Angular, Java Script and other related technologies.

Responsible for analyzing designs and building components-based applications in a web/Internet delivery environment, including introduction of an application layer using various modeling techniques, Component and Object-Oriented design, complex algorithmic coding and systematic approaches to application integration.

The successful candidate must be able to play an important role in development and maintenance of identity fraud detection related products and the design, implementation and maintenance of a state-of-the art Case Management UI solution for analyzing and investigating the potential fraud identity changes and new account applications.

The successful candidate should enjoy and be equally strong in both solving complex and abstract algorithmic problems and also doing an efficient and solid implementation of the solutions.

Essential:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 2 to 3 years of Full stack development experience using Java and Angular JS.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in Frameworks and ORM technologies such as Spring and Hibernate Framework.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge in Object-Oriented analysis and design and design patterns.
  • Strong relational database experience (Postresql, MySql, Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11i).

Additional:

  • Knowledge in web architecture and web development and enterprise development tools and technologies, e.g. JavaScript, Camel, CXF, XML/XSLT, HTML, Git, etc.
  • Familiarity with more than one operating systems like Windows, Unix, Linux etc.
  • Experience with source control and development coding practices
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.

Preferable:

  • Experience with a dynamic programming language such as Groovy, Ruby, Python, etc.
  • Rapid applications development using Agile or extreme programming experience
  • Technology Certifications (SUN Certification, Oracle Certification etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in Financial Services industry
  • Start-up company experience

Job Title: Product Owner

Job Description:

The Product Owner is responsible for understanding market trends, customer needs and business objectives and translating these into business requirements from which our technical team will build and implement the solution. ID Insight operates in an agile development environment; we deliver new features and releases on a frequent basis. The Product Owner should have strong technical skills, the ability to manage product priorities, and work well in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

The Product Owner works alongside the Chief Product and Marketing Officer to ensure ID Insight’s solutions address market needs, meet customer requirements, and provide real value. The Product Owner will work with the team to ensure the successful delivery of new releases, new features, and new products. We are seeking candidates who are interested in working with us to deliver innovative solutions to our customers and help us achieve aggressive growth objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Document business requirements to ensure effective new product features and enhancements
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and communicate how our solutions solve key market problems
  • Write product requirements; manage and prioritize the backlog
  • Conduct and manage user acceptance tests to confirm that the product features are implemented in accordance with business requirements
  • Work closely with the technical team to lead and manage through the agile process
  • Launch product releases and successfully deliver new product capabilities
  • Listen to the market to determine needs by actively engaging with customers and selling channels
  • Present product details and training to customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Author user guides and provide content for implementation and technical integration
  • Understand current systems and business processes to become the subject matter expert for our products
  • Conduct and manage user acceptance tests to confirm that the product features are implemented in accordance with business requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years working as a technology Product Owner or Business Analyst, SaaS preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software development lifecycle (e.g., Agile, Iterative, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans
  • Willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools, subjects and technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong writing, verbal and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

Desired Qualifications:

  • Track record of strong execution and experience partnering with technical teams
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Groovy, Python, etc.
  • Some experience with SQL for query, profiling and testing
  • Knowledge in test automation tools testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with information services and data analytics
